"Ms. Young" is a passionate educator with extensive training in Biology and Educational Leadership. As a former principal, she specializes in building deep, positive connections with students of all ages.

Reading and Math Tutor

Kelly Allen

Our newest volunteer tutor, Kelly, loves teaching and believes everyone has potential to succeed. Teaching neurodivergent children has given her great insight and experience.

Parental Support

Dr. Deborah Miller

Through our "Hope for Parents" initiative, Dr. Miller provides expert guidance for families teaching at home, helping them navigate the emotional and tactical challenges of homeschooling.

Become a Volunteer

Strike Hope is a unique opportunity organization that supports students and families beyond their education. Families are empowered with educational tools, supplies, materials, etc. to assure day to day success. The organizers of Strike Hope are genuinely engaged in working with outside organizations to earn funding to supplant students and families with necessary daily tools for life success. Their vision and mission ensures a positive environment for all involved.

I was happy to contribute to this worthy cause. Children are learning at home more now than ever and many families need support, such as Strike HOPE provides. I encourage anyone who wants to make an impact on children's education to donate to Strike HOPE. This year, this organization has been working hard to provide Chromebooks and free tutoring for families in need.

I have been volunteering for Strike HOPE for a couple of years now and I can't wait to continue to see the impact from it! Families need this kind of support now more than ever.

It was great working as a volunteer teacher with a first grade student during the Summer '23. Parent and student attended regularly and the student was eager to learn. Everyone had a great learning experience.
